There will be safeguarding on the festival. Safeguarding is an effort started by volunteers from the European Juggling Association concerned with incidents of violence and harassment at the EJC. We believe everyone deserves a safe EJC experience, and we work year-round with the EJA, the EJC Organizing teams, and many other community members to make that belief a reality. For those who have either been a victim or have witnessed harmful behaviour at the EJC, the safeguarding space will be available to all. Please come by to ask us questions about reporting, share your thoughts on community safety, or even just for a chat. If you want to join the safeguarding team, we’re always looking for engaged volunteers. Our team members will be wearing purple high-visibility vests on site or come find us at our desk in the central point.

Festival Tickets

See ticket prices.

Is the ticket for the Gala Show included in the week ticket for the full convention?

No, a Gala Show ticket is not included in any of the tickets, you need to buy it separately. You can choose between multiple shows; note that each show presents the same artistic program. Gala Show tickets are sold for the following price, independent of the ticket phase:

  • Adults: €16,50
  • Children 8 - 17 years: €10
  • Children 0 - 7 years: Free.

Please be sure to select whether they will need a seat or not, since some children will sit on laps whereas others need their own seat.

Is access to the campsite included in the ticket? What about day tickets?

Yes, camping is included in the festival ticket. Also for day tickets, one night of camping is included (until noon 12:00 pm the next day).

Can I come with my car or caravan?

Yes, but you need to buy a separate ticket for cars and caravans.

I am buying tickets for several people at the same time. What information do I need to provide, so I can gather that from everyone in advance?

You need to provide the following information for the person who is buying the tickets and every individual who the tickets are meant for.

  • first name
  • last name
  • country
  • email address
  • date of birth

You can also choose the “I don’t know yet” option during the process of assigning tickets and fill out the needed data later. Remember to fill out the data before the convention! A ticket without personal data is not valid.

Can I attend the event with someone else’s ticket?

All tickets are personal and your ID will be checked upon entry. You can, however, transfer your ticket to someone else (see ‘How can I transfer ownership of a ticket?’).

Can I return a ticket?

No, tickets are not refundable. But you can transfer it to another person (see below). We also recommend purchasing travel insurance, which will help you cover financial losses associated with surprise circumstances that could ruin a trip, including illness, injury, accidents, flight or other transportation delays, and other issues.

How can I transfer ownership of a ticket?

If you have chosen the “I don’t know yet” option during the process of purchasing a ticket, you can later assign the ticket to somebody other than yourself. After entering all personal data of the new owner, the ticket will be locked. If during the purchase you assigned your ticket to a specific person, the ticket will already be locked. In this case, if you want to transfer your ticket, please contact prereg@eja.net, adding the person you would like to transfer your ticket to in CC. Give us your name, date of birth, the order number, and the email address used for ordering the ticket (only if sending from a different email address). Either you or the person who should receive your ticket needs to provide the information (name, contact info and address) of the receiver. We will confirm the legitimacy of the ticket to the person you are transferring your ticket to, and change the information in the backend once you both confirm the swap. For a ticket swap, there is an administration fee of €10. Important! We will not transfer any entries after 23:59 CET of July 26st.

Someone else wants to sell their ticket. How do I know it’s ot a scam?

To protect you from scams, the process for transferring ownership of a ticket is the following, supposing person A wants to transfer their ticket to person B.

  • Person A will send an email to prereg@eja.net with person B in CC, providing their name, date of birth, the order number, and the email they ordered from (all for verification).
  • The Pre-reg Coordinator verifies that it’s a real ticket.
  • Either person A or B shares the personal information of person B with pre-reg, and confirms that person A has received the money from person B (with the other person in CC).
  • Our Pre-reg Coordinator will change the name and information corresponding to the ticket.

If you don’t know the person you are making the transaction with, we recommend not trying to swap tickets in another way. This system is in place to protect jugglers from scammers, and tickets have to be personalised.

Why do ticket swaps incur and admin fee?

The pre-reg system is run by volunteers, and there is a lot of work to be done in the background. This money goes towards the European Juggling Association and will therefore benefit future EJCs.

What is “EJA contribution”?

At the end of your purchase, you will have an opportunity to have a small fee added with the name “EJA contribution”. As we’ve all noticed, in the last few years, things have been getting more expensive. This also means that things for the European Juggling Association, the volunteer-run organisation supporting local EJC organisers, have been getting more expensive. At the same time, it is getting harder for EJCs to return a surplus, which means that in the foreseeable future, there is a risk that there is not enough financial support from the European Juggling Association to EJCs available anymore, making it a lot harder for EJCs to happen. This contribution of €3 helps to cover the running cost of the Association, which means there is more money available for future EJCs. If you do not want this to happen you can uncheck the box.

Can I buy a ticket in my name and pay with a credit card in someon else’s name?

Yes, the important thing is that during the purchase process, you indicate the name of the person who will collect the ticket and attend the festival.

If I want to become a full-time volunteer, should I still buy a ticket?

Yes, you will need to buy a ticket. If you will indeed be a full-time volunteer at the festival, we will refund your ticket. If you want to be a full-time volunteer, please write to the volunteer coordinator at volunteer@ejc2026.org.

I am under 18. Can I participate in the EJC?

If you are between 16 and 18 you need a parental consent form; if you are under 16 you will also need an adult participant of the EJC who will take responsibility for you. Check our Child Protection Policy.

Parental Consent Form

My 18th birthday is during the convention, which price should I pay?

If you pre-register and you are under the age of 18 on the first day of the festival (1st of August 2026), you can pay the under-18 price. If you register on-site, then you pay the price for your age on the date of purchase.

Until when can I assign my ticket?

Preferably as soon as possible, as this helps the organization. You can assign it until the moment you arrive at the festival. When the ticket is used, it must be registered under a name.

Am I allowed to camp with a tent with a camper ticket?

When you purchase a camper ticket, you can decide what to place in that area. As long as everything stays within the designated area, tents are allowed next to a camper .

Shows

Will the shows take place in the city near the campsite?

Yes, all activities will be located in the city center and will be accessible by the foot.

When will the Gala Show take place?

There will be multiple Gala Shows, each presenting the same artistic program. Tickets will be sold separately from the festival tickets, so you can select the one you would like to attend.

  • Friday August 7, starting at 20:00
  • Saturday August 8, starting at 20:00

Can I change my gala show ticket from one to another show?

There will be a ticket swap workshop on the workshop board. Find someone who wants to swap tickets.
